AstraLocker is a fork of the Babuk ransomware family. Babuk is a Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) threat group, selling ransomware tools to affiliate cybercriminals. AstraLocker 2.0 was first seen in March 2022, but new research has surfaced about its capabilities.
