# ReversingLabs

> ReversingLabs is an AI-driven binary analysis and threat intelligence platform, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Boston, MA. Its Spectra Core engine analyzes software binaries, containers, and files without dynamic execution, powering two distinct product lines: software supply chain security (Spectra Assure) and malware analysis & threat hunting (Spectra Detect, Analyze, Intelligence).

ReversingLabs serves two related but distinct use cases. Spectra Assure addresses software supply chain security (competing with Snyk, Sonatype, Checkmarx, jFrog) by analyzing compiled binaries rather than source code or manifests. Spectra Detect, Analyze, and Intelligence address enterprise-scale file analysis, SOC malware analysis, and threat intelligence (competing with OPSWAT, VirusTotal, Any.Run, Hybrid Analysis, Stairwell, Recorded Future, and Polyswarm). Both are powered by the same Spectra Core foundation: 422 billion searchable samples, support for 4,800+ file types and 400+ archive/installer/packer families, and 20 million files analyzed daily.
